Unnikannan A (Manoj) is an experienced healthcare professional with over 22 years of
expertise in Geriatric Care and 17 years of dedicated service in Palliative Care. His
professional journey includes significant contributions to community-based healthcare,
palliative home-care services, nephrology support, dementia care, counselling, and patient
rehabilitation. He has provided long-term support to 300+ home-care patients and 50+
dialysis patients through structured and coordinated care.

Mrs. Sreelakshmi M MSc Nursing, BCCPN(Palliative Care)
Mrs. Sreelakshmi M is a committed and compassionate nursing professional with solid experience in pediatric and palliative care, along with strong academic credentials in nursing education. Her career reflects a balance of clinical proficiency and teaching excellence, dedicated to improving child health and community well-being.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (Child Health Nursing) from the College of Nursing, Thalassery (2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from EMCH College of Nursing, Perinthalmanna (2013). She also completed the Basic Certificate Course in Palliative Nursing (BCCPN) from the District Hospital Palliative Training Center, Palakkad (2014).
Mrs. Sreelakshmi began her professional journey as a Staff Nurse under the National Health Mission (NHM) Palliative Care Project, where she provided dedicated care and support to patients for 3.5 years. Later, she served as a Lecturer at SDA College of Nursing, contributing 2.5 years of teaching and mentoring future nursing professionals.
Through her clinical and academic experience, she continues to uphold the values of compassion, excellence, and commitment in the field of healthcare and nursing education.
Dr. Leenarani A, MBBS

Dr. Leenarani A is a distinguished and compassionate medical practitioner with over 23 years of extensive experience in clinical practice, patient management, and public health administration. Her long and dedicated service in the Kerala Health Service has been marked by professionalism, empathy, and a deep commitment to improving the quality of healthcare at the community level. Having served across various healthcare settings—including primary health centers, public health programs, and community initiatives—Dr. Leenarani has played a vital role in advancing health accessibility and wellness awareness, especially in rural and underserved populations. She retired as a Civil Surgeon from the Kerala Health Service, where her leadership and clinical expertise contributed greatly to strengthening the state’s public health delivery system.
She is also qualified in palliative care and has over 14 years of dedicated experience in
various palliative care units across Kerala, continuing to serve with compassion and
commitment. Her work in this field reflects her belief in holistic healing—providing not only medical treatment but also emotional and psychological support to patients and families in need.
Dr. Leenarani is widely respected for her meticulous clinical judgment, strong
communication skills, and patient-centered approach. Her commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement defines her professional ethos. Even after retirement, she remains actively engaged in palliative medicine, health awareness campaigns, and preventive care initiatives, ensuring that her expertise continues to benefit the community.
Dr. Nazar K A, MBBS, BCCPM (Palliative Care), CCEDBM (Diabetis)
Dr. Nazar K A is a distinguished senior medical professional with an outstanding 27 years of dedicated service in the fields of general medicine and primary healthcare. His long-standing commitment to medical excellence and community welfare has established him as a respected and trusted name in both public and institutional healthcare sectors.
During his extensive career in the Government Health Service, Dr. Nazar served in multiple key capacities and retired as Assistant Director, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, efficiency, and compassionate care. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to improving healthcare systems, implementing public health initiatives, and strengthening primary healthcare delivery across the state.
With more than 15 years of active involvement in palliative care, Dr. Nazar has been at the forefront of Kerala’s community-based health movement. He is widely recognized as the founder of the primary government palliative care sector in Palakkad district, where he pioneered and developed sustainable models of patient-centered care for the chronically and terminally ill. His continuous engagement in palliative care services reflects his deep sense of empathy and lifelong dedication to holistic healthcare.
His expertise extends across preventive medicine, chronic disease management, infectious disease control, and patient counseling. Known for his compassionate approach, Dr.Nazar treats every patient with dignity, empathy, and clear communication—ensuring that each receives individualized, comprehensive medical attention. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Nazar remains actively involved in medical education, mentorship, and community outreach programmes, focusing on preventive health, early diagnosis, and long-term wellness. SanthaKumari K Retd Nursing Superintendent from Kerala Health Services
Santha Kumari K is a highly experienced and compassionate nursing professional with over 23 years of dedicated service in the government healthcare sector. She began her career in 1996 as a Government Staff Nurse, where she served with commitment and care until 2012. Her exceptional performance and leadership qualities earned her a promotion to Head Nurse in 2012, a position she held until 2018. In 2018, she advanced to the role of Nursing Superintendent, where she successfully managed nursing operations, coordinated hospital activities, and ensured the highest standards of patient care. She retired from government service in 2019, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and compassion. Throughout her career, she also actively concentrated on palliative care, providing comfort, support, and dignity to patients with chronic and life-limiting illnesses. Her dedication to palliative care reflects her deep sense of empathy and commitment to holistic patient well-being. She got best Nurses Award in 2018.
Jobish P. James
Jobish P. James is an accomplished business professional with extensive experience in healthcare product distribution, marketing, and management. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing and Human Resources.
He currently serves as the Managing Director of JOSHCRISPR LLP, a leading wholesale distributor of healthcare products and medical consumables in the private sector.
In addition, he is the Director of BS Agency India Pvt. Ltd., a major supplier to government hospitals and LSGDs across Kerala, and a Partner at MAJIKTOUCH, expanding his business presence in the healthcare and wellness sectors.
With over seven years of diversified professional experience, including two years of international experience in marketing and sales and five years in the government health sector and palliative care, Jobish has developed a deep understanding of both business operations and community healthcare needs. His leadership is defined by a commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable growth.
Mr. U.B. Harinarayanan
Mr. U.B. Harinarayanan is a highly respected retired banking professional who dedicated a distinguished career to the Canara Bank, where he served as a Senior Officer. Over the course of his tenure, he gained extensive experience working across multiple states in India, developing a strong foundation in administration, leadership, and community engagement.
Following his retirement, Mr. Harinarayanan chose to devote his time and energy to a cause close to his heart—palliative care. For the past four years, he has been actively and fully engaged as a volunteer in the palliative care sector, demonstrating unwavering commitment and compassion toward patients and their families.
As a senior citizen himself, he brings not only experience but also deep empathy and understanding to his work. He has dedicated this phase of his life entirely to supporting palliative care initiatives, focusing on improving the quality of life for individuals facing serious and life-limiting illnesses.
